Conference and corporate event filming: professional 4K cameras, multicamera

Mobile Event delivers filming for conferences, galas, product launches and town halls with professional 4K cameras, in setups of 3 to 5 cameras per room. The recorded sound comes straight from the DiGiCo SD 21 console, not from the camera mic, and the footage is delivered cut into sessions, ready for your intranet, your on-demand platform or your onboarding materials. The same team runs the vision mixing and the streaming, so the cameras that film are the ones feeding the LED screen and the live broadcast.

Filming setups available

Filming a conference is more than one camera on a tripod at the back of the room. It's a setup of 3-5 cameras coordinated from the control position, with lighting built for camera and sound taken straight from the console. The four setups below cover everything from a single-room conference day to a congress with parallel rooms and multilingual broadcast.

Corporate conference filming with 3 4K cameras

The standard setup for 500-1,500 attendees and 1-3 active speakers: one close-up camera on the speaker, one wide camera covering the room and stage, one slide capture feed straight from the presenter's laptop. The control position cuts between them live, and the recording keeps both the cut programme and each camera separately, for editing later.

Gala, product launch and corporate party filming

For events with stage moments, awards and audience reactions we add a roaming camera on a stabiliser and a second wide camera for atmosphere shots. We sync the filming with the lighting and the LED content, so the key moments look as good in the recording as they did in the room.

3

Recording for intranet, on-demand and onboarding

More and more companies want the conference sessions to live on after the event: in the internal library, in materials for new hires, in the leadership campaign. We deliver the footage cut into sessions, with the slides integrated, in a 4K master and a 1080p web version, plus the separate per-camera files if your comms team wants to edit further.

4

Filming integrated with AV control and streaming

The filming cameras are the same ones feeding the Blackmagic ATEM mixer at the control position. That means one team, one setup and one point of responsibility for what appears on the LED screen in the room, in the live broadcast on YouTube, Teams or Zoom, and in the recording. Details on switching and platforms on the audio-video control page.

How to decide how many cameras your event needs

The number of cameras depends on three variables: how many speakers are active at once and how much they move on stage, how many rooms run in parallel, and what deliverable you expect at the end. A one-day conference in a single room, with presentations from the lectern, is covered by 3 cameras. A congress with 3 parallel rooms needs 3 crews and a central control position. A town hall with a CEO walking the stage and Q&A from the floor calls for a roaming camera and a dedicated operator on the audience.

Single-room conference, presentations from the lectern

3 cameras, 2 operators + 1 director

Deliverable: live-cut programme + ISO per camera

Town hall with Q&A from the floor

4 cameras, 3 operators + 1 director

Deliverable: programme + short version for the intranet

Gala or product launch

4-5 cameras, 3-4 operators + 1 director

Deliverable: programme + 2-3 minute highlight

Congress with 2-5 parallel rooms

3 cameras per room, a crew per room + central control

Deliverable: separate sessions, per room

Lighting matters as much as the cameras. A speaker filmed under the room's office lighting looks tired no matter what camera you use. We use lights from our own inventory, Arri and Mac 700 profiles, to build front light for camera without disturbing the audience in the room.

Filming usually comes together with sound, lighting and AV control, delivered by the same team. It works the same way at corporate conferences and at hybrid events, with half the attendees on a link.
